User Account
Each MSPCFO user has account settings that are specific to the individual.
To update this information first click on the downward arrow at the top right of any page.
Select "User Account"
Four tabs are available:
1. Basic Info >General - the basic information that is provided for the user when originally set up in the system. This includes First name, Last name, email address and cell phone number.
If any of these fields are changed Click on the Save button. Reset restores the original settings without saving any new settings.
2. Password - An MSPCFO user can update the unique password for the user account on this screen. Enter a new password and then confirm. Press Save to save the password. Reset restores the original settings without saving any new settings.
3. Two Factor > Two Factor Authentication Setup
MSPCO allows for two types of 2FA methods for security:
SMS - A 6-digit code sent to the user's cell phone which is entered into the system by the user.
Authenticator - A software-based authenticator app is used to implement verification for security. A changing 6-digit code regularly changes through the app is used to log into the system.
MSPCFO initially sets up new users with SMS. The user can change to an Authenticator in this tab.
The user has the option to have 2FA required on each login, or only when the browser or computer changes. The default is the second method.
MSPCFO recommends using Authenticator which is a more secure method for 2FA.
4. Security
For security reasons, if the system has not been accessed for a period of time, the system will go through the log out process. The system default is 45 minutes. Four other time options are provided.
